SCAGLIONE - The Masterminds of contemporary Knitwear

Seeking for the epitome of classic and traditional Italian family business, the story of SCAGLIONE is the perfect example, starting in the 1960s in Northern Italy.

1932 born Renato Scaglione was studying painting, showing great talent as an artist, until he had to join his elder brother in Milan, working for a sewing copany.

Life wouldn't be life, if by coincidence and travelling around Milan, Renato met his future wife Celsa.

They shared a strong passion for art and decided to combine their creativity and artisanal knowledge for the launch of a new business. In 1966 the company today known as MAGLIFICIO SCAGLIONE was established.

Core values of SCAGLIONE are rooted in tradition and impeccable craftsmanship, being a small, creative and authenic company with freedom of self-determination.

The beautifully contemporary crafted Ready To Wear collection is yet handed over to the SCAGLIONES familys third generation.
