ALTO MILANO

Founded in 1923, Alto started a manufacturing company of socks. The use of modern American-made machinery distinguishes in a further way the innovative spirit of the founder.

During the Italian economic boom, the son, Luigi, started a new productive phase, characterized by an evolution of yarns’ quality and through research increased focus on originality and creativity. Introduces mesh made and patterns always more bold, which became soon a distinctive element of Alto.

During the 80’s Alto transformed socks from a simple accessory into an increasingly indispensable element of style.
